Hello and welcome to our church website. We have designed this space with you in mind.

While you are browsing our site, you will learn about what we have coming up on our calendar, and get a glimpse of who we are… but only a glimpse. Which is why I would like to invite you to join us for one of our worship services.

We know that life is full of questions, difficult situations and seasons, but we have found that life has more meaning and purpose when it is lived by following Jesus Christ. The reason we exist as a church is to help people find that same Hope that we have discovered.

Thanks for visiting, and we hope to see you in person soon!

We at The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship take seriously Christ’s commission to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Therefore, our vision as a Fellowship has always been to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission through Evangelism, Discipleship and Church Planting. It was Christ Himself who commanded His followers to “make disciples of all the nations,” and the simple obedience to this command is the passion and driving force of our church.

With this focus, we are constantly endeavoring to reach unsaved and unchurched people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to spread the good news of God’s love and saving grace throughout the world. Whether we use Christian bands, movies, dramas, street preaching or door-to-door evangelism… Our focus, vision and mission is to help lead people into their own personal and saving relationship with the Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Potter’s House Church is a Bible-based, Spirit filled, nondenominational family of believers. We count it a privilege to welcome you to our church and minister to your spiritual needs. Ushers are available before, during and after each service to answer your questions and help guide you.

A quality nursery is available each service for infants so that you can have time to yourself and focus on the service. Regular services begin with praise and worship that will ready your heart for the preaching of God’s Word. After prayer requests and opening the service in prayer, we take an offering to honour the Lord. Announcements are followed by the biblical preaching of God’s Word and an altar call.

We are excited to welcome you to The Potter’s House Church Merrylands and look forward to meeting you in person.

Completely up to you. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual.

What if I’m not sure about Christianity?

Perfect. That’s why we started the church. We’d love to help you know more.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling every Christian is able to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

We believe in the resurrection of both those who believe in Jesus and those who do not believe: those believing to eternal life with Christ and those unbelieving to eternal punishment in hell.

We believe it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and taking of Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.
